The new Swiss Ambassador to Luxembourg, Benno Laggner, was received by parliamentary group president Laurent Zeimet. Mr Laggner looks back on extensive experience in diplomacy, with a strong focus on multilateral cooperation within the framework of the UN, the OSCE and the International Atomic Energy Agency. New York, Berlin and Vienna were postings where he led international bodies in the field of nuclear and security policy.
Relations between Luxembourg and the EU and Switzerland were the subject of the meeting. It was also shaped by an exchange on the tense international situation.
