The CSV took office in 2023 with the aim of modernising the country and putting it in a better position for the future. With this in mind, the government has already implemented many elements of its programme. And the CSV Members of Parliament have accompanied this process constructively and critically through their legislative work in the Chamber. Together, a coherent policy is being made – in the interest of you and of the country.
A whole series of election promises have been delivered:
- Purchasing power was strengthened through adjustments to the tax table
- Targeted tax measures, increased social benefits and simplified procedures provide strong support to households most threatened by the risk of poverty
- To bolster the economy, investments were made in infrastructure projects and corporate tax was reduced
- With 51 measures, renewable energies are being expanded more quickly
- Security was strengthened through more police officers and local police units
- Simplified procedures to build more and faster, and the purchase programme for new-build housing were launched.
The CSV’s ambition is to take political decisions with courage and responsibility, always with the clear goal of achieving what is best for Luxembourg and its people.
Especially in difficult times, our country needs the courage to take new paths and a policy that guarantees stability, cohesion and a secure future for everyone.
